Insurance
Susan Martinez accepts private pay clients and some insurance for covered conditions. Please note insurance does not cover premarital counseling, marriage counseling, or couples counseling for relationship issues.
Benefits and coverage vary widely between specific plans and are policy dependent. Therefore, you will need to have checked your insurance coverage and benefits yourself before the appointment and then provide me with your insurance information and I will be happy to file the claim using the information that you provide. Please note sometimes your mental health insurance company is different than your medical insurance company. Please ask where claims are sent to for mental health- name of company and Payer ID for claims. Use the number on the back of your id card to verify with your insurance customer service that the benefit (telehealth for mental health) is covered in your plan and that I am considered in network for your specific plan and if there are any restrictions/exclusions. You are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance.
